Role Description

We are looking for a Kids’ Dance Instructor to join our team for the Kids Summer Dance Camp in Chicago, IL. The Dance Camp runs for 4 weeks, starting on June 24th and ending on July 18th. During the camp, we will teach various dance styles, such as Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia, Merengue, Ballet, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Jazz, and Yoga. This on-site, temporary role requires you to teach Latin dance to children. As a Kids’ Dance Instructor, you will create an enjoyable and engaging learning environment, design dance routines, and provide guidance and feedback to students. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about dance and enjoys working with children.

Hours Need:

Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Dance Style: Cumbia, Merengue, Hip-Hop, Breakdancing, and Yoga

Qualifications

• Prior experience in teaching dance to children
• Strong knowledge and skills in Latin dance styles
• Ability to create age-appropriate dance routines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, enthusiastic, and able to motivate children
• Certification in dance education is a plus
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Located in or willing to relocate to Chicago, IL
