We need someone to work our Tuesday nights & NYE events between 8 pm-2 am.
Job “Door Host” Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Door Host to join our team for clubs and outdoor events. As a Door Host, you will maintain a smooth flow of guests by checking tickets and event lists.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive to work well-dressed & well maintained.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Check tickets or event passes to validate entry and prevent unauthorized access.
- Control crowds and manage lines to ensure an organized entry process.
- Collaborate with security personnel and management to address potential security concerns or incidents.
- Communicate effectively with guests and provide directions or assistance as needed.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or disturbances that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of guest counts, incidents, and any relevant information.
- Follow all company policies and procedures and legal and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Door Host, bouncer, or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong observational and situational awareness abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations regarding alcohol consumption and entry requirements.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping purposes.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
