Flory is an instructor, dancer and a vocal performer. She was born and raised in Bulgaria, growing her love for music from a very early age. She moved to the United States when she was 18 to pursue her career in music on a bigger stage and develop the talents she’s always had.
Flory started taking vocal and piano lessons at the age of 5. Since then, she has gotten a lot of experience performing on various stages, each bigger than the last one. She was introduced to Latin dancing in high school, after which she never stopped dancing. From the moment she learned her basic step, she knew dancing will be a huge part of her life. She began taking salsa and bachata classes in Bulgaria at Un Beso Dance Studios by Darina Georgieva, Iglika Ivanova and Vanya Gyosheva.
Later, Flory travelled around Europe and the United States social dancing at International Congresses and Festivals as well as taking classes with some of the best in the world including: Tropical Gem, Adrian y Anita, Seo Fernandez y Eneris Mulgado, Sara Lopez, Pambos Agapiou, Panagtiotis y Myrto, Talal Benlahsen, Diego y Ozlem Sevimkan, Raul Torres y Nadya Toncheva & many others.
It wasn’t until 2018 when Flory joined the Legacy Mambo Team that she found a passion for dance performance. The love for teaching developed not long after when she was invited to teach at a few clubs around Chicago. She’s dedicated to expanding her knowledge and dancing skills and passing those onto her students.
Flory’s passion has always been music and she expresses it through singing and dancing. She says she feels alive on stage and music makes her feel like she can do anything!
