Steve Day
Steve ‘s passion for salsa and bachata dancing started in 1996 when he saw an advertisement in a local paper for salsa dance lessons. At the time, he wanted to impress a girl he liked, but little did he know that he was about to embark on a lifelong journey in salsa and bachata dancing.
He took a six-week salsa dance class, and halfway through the course, the girl he hoped to impress transferred to another office, but Steve was already hooked. He continued to pursue his passion for dancing and eventually found his way to Latin Street Music & Dancing (LSMD), where he signed up for classes in 1998.
In 2000, Steve’s talent and dedication to salsa and bachata dancing caught the attention of Andres, the founder of LSD, who asked him to become an instructor. Without hesitation, Steve accepted the offer and began teaching salsa and bachata dancing to others.
His Success in Salsa and Bachata Dancing
During his time at LSD, Steve has had many accomplishments. He led a successful amateur bachata dance team called “The Bachataholics” and created the first Dominican Bachata classes at LSD. Steve’s love for learning has kept him as a student, as he believes that one should never stop learning.

Steve’s teaching philosophy revolves around creating a fun and engaging environment for his students. He believes that everyone has the potential to learn salsa and bachata dancing and aims to make the learning experience enjoyable for his students.
