The Early Years of Abraham Ruiz’s Dance Journey Abraham Ruiz’s passion for Latin dance began at a young age. He started by learning the basics of dance styles at Quinceanera events and quickly became skilled at choreographing and producing these events.

Current Work and Accomplishments

Today, Abraham is a co-owner and director of the Evolucion Latina Dance Company (ELDC), where he helps develop aspiring dancers and choreographers. He is a sought-after performer and workshop instructor, touring worldwide to showcase his skills and share his knowledge. His dedication and talent have earned him multiple trophies and a respected position in the Latin dance community.

Professional Dance Career

Abraham continued to pursue his passion for dance and joined his first professional team, Alma Chicago, where he worked with various talented directors and instructors. In December 2018, he started teaching at Latin Street Music & Dancing.

In January 2019, Abraham competed at the World Salsa Championships in Miami. He won 1st place in the Men Shines Duo category and placed 2nd as a member of The Alma Chicago AM Team category.
