The convention begins Thursday evening and continues through early Monday morning, with nightly social dancing scheduled as late as 4:00 AM.

Andres will represent Chicago and Latin Street as part of CALDAC’s international DJ lineup, bringing his experience, musical knowledge, and energy to the festival dance floors.
Fabia Lorena — Featured Artist
Fabia Lorena joins the 2026 artist lineup, representing Latin Street through workshops, performances, and the international Bachata community.

What to Expect
CALDAC brings together more than 1,000 dancers for four days of workshops, performances, live music, and social dancing.
The 2026 Convention is expected to include:
- More than 140 hours of dance workshops
- More than 140 professional performances
- Over 26 hours of social dancing
- Live music Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- International instructors and DJs
- Five workshop and social-dancing rooms
- Salsa, Cuban Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Zouk
- Additional styles including Cha Cha Cha, Samba and more
- Evening shows, theme nights and vendor booths
