Fabia Ribeiro
Dance Instructor, Team director, choreographer & dancers
Born in Brazil, in Chicago since age 4, Fabia started dancing Bachata in senior year of High School.
She performed with Alma Chicago 2016-2019. While at Alma, she co-directed Alma Chicago Beginner team in 2017-18 and served as director for Alma Chicago Intermediate team in 2018-19.
While performing with Alma, she also danced with Movimiento Latino (MLX) from 2017-2019 & Co-choreographed Movimiento Latino’s Bachata piece in 2018-19.
Fabia is currently co-directing the intermediate ladies styling team with Evolución Latina as well as directing the Latin Street Reinas styling team.
Most recently she has won the following awards:
1st place National Champion at Bachateando April 2019
2nd place World Champion at World Salsa Summit January 2019
2nd place World Champion ProAm Classic Bachata at World Salsa Summit January 2020
3rd place World Champion ProAm Cabaret Bachata at World Salsa Summit January 2020
Besides being an amazing Bachata dancer, she can also dance: Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Zouk, Forro, Samba & Hip Hop!
