
Veany Gomez
Veany Gomez comes to Latin Street From Ensenada Baja California.
He started dancing at the age of 7 yrs old, but at age 14 started creating choreographies for quinceñeras for some of his friends. From then, his passion grew into participating in the TV show “Caminos de estrellas”.
He was a member of a Quebradita club in chicago for 2 years, frecuently competing with differents Quebradita clubs.
For Veany, dancing is his passion because it let’s him be whoever he wants to be and express himself in many different ways
He has been working with kids since he was 15, as he worked for the archdioceses of chicago for 5 years as a youth minister. The archdiocese provided him the “Virtus” certificate which certified him to be able to work with young people in the church.
All in all, he has choreographed about 150 quinceñeras in his 10 yrs as a Dancer. “LIVE,LAUGH,DANCE ”
You can catch him at Latin Street, teaching Kids 4-7 yrs Tropical Steps Class and The Kids 8+ Cumbia on Saturday mornings from 10a-12p.
