
Fadi Hamati
Fadi is originally from Amman, Jordan. He moved to the US in 2010 where he attended Amherst College and graduated cum laude in 2014. After graduation he joined a neuroscience lab as a researcher and was a mental health counselor working in Cambridge, MA. He most recently moved to Chicago in 2018 to pursue a medical degree. He currently attends Rush Medical College as a fourth year medical student. He will be pursuing child psychiatry as a career.
Fadi has a versatile dancing history extending over 10 years. He started learning latin dance, specifically salsa and bachata, with Anastasia Veremeyenko Christi, a Russian ballroom dancer and instructor based in Massachusetts. While in Amherst, he was the president of the Latin and Ballroom Dance Club and was a member of several hip hop dance organizations. He has mastered the basics of latin dance during college in 2010. Since then has attended numerous dance classes from hip hop to latin dancing, working to improve his craft and skills on the dance floor. He is known for incorporating hip-hop into his salsa and bachata routines, adding a unique flare that distinguishes him from other dancers on the floor.
