
Carissa Bracken
Carissa has been dancing for fifteen years and has been a teacher for four. She is an award winning dancer and choreographer, was 2018/2019 Liberate Artist Dance Captain, and has been attending Phoenix fire with the company Liberate Artists that coincides with the “you are enough” campaign, since 2017, and was an apprentice with them this summer in New York in 2021. She has performed in multiple halftime and live shows as well as had professional camera work experience. Lastly, she is currently attending Columbia College Chicago as a dance major in the BFA program.
Her awards include a “technique award” from a dance competition a special judges “did not want it to end” award for a self choreographed solo at nationals. Carissa danced with Dancerpiration and was a 2018/2019 liberate artist dance captain and currently apprenticing in New York City.
She has assisted Lauren Froderman, Phil Write, Eva Igo, Maureen Gonzales, and Eric Lehn. Also, performed at UIC, Northwestern University and local New York theaters for Phoenix Fire and competed all around the Chicago Land area.
